Closer to What is True: A 6-Week Journey into Collective and Personal Myth Through Art Making & Storytelling

"There is something in you that already knows what wants to be made. This course creates the space to listen."

Closer to What Is True is an intimate six-week online journey into the creative psyche. Inspired by the Open Studio method of Pat B. Allen, this course invites you to use color, symbol, story, poetry, and free expression to uncover what lives beneath the surface—and to bring it into form.

You don't need to be an artist. You need only a willingness to listen.

The first three weeks are exploration. We will read a myth together and from there use artistic techniques such as collage, journaling, poetry, and image-making to follow symbols, let the unconscious speak, and go inward.

In the final three weeks, you will complete a creative project of your own choosing: a painting, a sculpture, a piece of writing, or something entirely your own.

Elements of ritual and ceremony are woven throughout. This is not just an art class. It is community, a space to be curious, a place to meet yourself again.

Great for all people, and especially those going through a transition. Your symbol and myth can carry you through and into the next stage. It may be experienced as a rite of passage.

Meets every Monday beginning July 29th for six weeks.

Heart Navigation

A 6-Week Series

Heart Navigation is a creative journey into the psyche designed to help you reconnect with what matters most. Through art making, reflection, ritual, imagination, and community, participants explore their values, dreams, obstacles, and next steps.

Inspired by shamanic principles and based on The Lost Art of Heart Navigation by Jeff D. Nixas, this series offers a creative map for those standing at a threshold, moving through a life transition, seeking direction, or longing for a deeper relationship with themselves and their lives.

Using creative practices, meditation, writing, symbolic art making, and ritual, we follow what emerges from within and give it form.

Ongoing Women's Circle

Three-Month Series with Option to Extend

Launching October 2026

This offering is still in development and details may evolve. The vision is an exploration of the maiden and mother archetypes, weaving women's wisdom traditions, creative practice, and the stories we carry.

Themes may include expanding creativity, opening voice, women's wisdom, writing practice, ritual, myth, and community. I am considering one or two myths as a through-line across the three months, creating a container where women write, make, move, and witness each other into their next becoming.

Open to women of all ages and stages of life.

Format: Biweekly • Additional details coming soon.

One-on-One Integration Sessions

Individual Support for Life Transitions, Creative Process, and Personal Growth

Sometimes what emerges through creative work, life transitions, grief, awakening, or inner exploration needs a little more space and attention.

These one-on-one sessions offer a supportive container to process experiences, deepen insights, work with symbols and dreams, explore creative blocks, and integrate what is unfolding in your life.

Together we will listen for what is wanting attention, honor where you are in your journey, and create space for greater clarity, connection, and movement forward.
